The Competition:
The “WOW Makeover Competition” allows users to enter and vote in a competition for a celebrity makeover. Visitors can register for the competition by filling in a form explaining why they should win, and uploading “before” and “after” photos of themselves. They are then able to share their entry with friends and family who are encouraged to register and vote. Users can also view a photo album to vote for their favourite contestants.

The Outcome:
The Facebook competition enabled Weight Watchers to offer its customers an entertaining and motivating service while creating an online buzz about the brand.
